I don’t see my name on the list so hopefully I am signed up. I am getting people to sponsor my reading with the proceeds going to Sesame Street Workshop.
Just adding a comment to say I’m participating !
Thank you for hosting! I’m very excited to start reading and I’ll donate a penny for every page read, up to five dollars (500 pages) to the Salvation Army. This way I can read, help people, and avoid cleaning my apartment. 😀

I’m donating a pile of books to a school library.
I will donate $3 or 3 books per book I read to my kids’ school library or another place in need of them.
Tressa, that is wonderful! Lucky school. Thank you for participating and enjoy the activities! Happy holidays & reading.
There’s not many things to do where I live( ie. a food bank ) but i did do a few good deeds this weekend and past week. I held the door open at the grocery store and carried some groceries for an elderly person. I also stayed after a basketball game to clean up chair and popcorn out of the school gym. I know these are small things but like i said not much to do up here. OH! I am also planning on buying something of the TOMS site. TOMS are shoes( or sunglasses) that you buy and they send a pair of shoes or glasses depending on what you buy to someone who needs them ,along with getting something for yourself or as a gift for someone else. I have 3 pairs of TOMS and hoping to add on because they make me feel warm inside when i wear them. I got a pair around Christmas last year just so someone else could get a pair for Christmas…sorry for the rant!
Lydia, I love ALL IT! Thanks for participating – you and your family have such big hearts! Happy holidays!!!
I am adopting a family with one of my hours at school and will fulfill their wishlist for Christmas!
Joe, that is truly awesome! You continue to be such an inspiration to students and a role model as a teacher! Thank you for your continued support and for participating in your FOURTH readathon!!!! xxxx, L
I signed up at the last minute possible, but I’m on that list!:)
Welcome! Glad you joined us!!! Happy holidays!
I donated a book at Booksamillion Friday night. At the register, they gave you the opportunity to buy a book and have it donated to a kid in the foster system. I thought it was a great idea!
Thanks for hosting the Readathon! I haven’t gotten as much I as wanted to read this weekend but I’m hoping to finish House of Hades by Rick Riordan tonight before midnight!
So awesome, Ashley. And I am so happy that you participated in the #Readathon again this year! Happy holidays to you!
I watched Invictus last night on TV. Now I’d like to read the book, Playing the Enemy by John Carlin. Homage to Mandela.

oh! I didn’t realize this was so early in December! I missed it…I hope everyone accomplished lots of reading Exams would have kept me from participating, anyhow.
