This is one of my favorite reading events of the year! Thank you again for hosting. I pledge to donate a penny per page read to purchase books for the children in my community. I’ve asked friends and family to match my pledge or make a one time donation.

I’m so glad you’re doing the readathon again!

I’ve been saving books all year for a blogger meetup that was supposed to happen this month, but since it’s no longer happening, I’ll donate the books to my local library’s bookstore so the money will go back into to the library. I’ll also donate a bag of canned goods when the local food bank sets up its collection barrel in the lobby of my building next month. :-)

Hi, Liza and fellow Holiday Readathoners! Thank you for the inspiration. I’m donating money to Union Station Homeless Services, https://unionstationhs.org/. This is a wonderful organization that is about helping homeless adults and children rebuild their lives and end homelessness. I’ll also be doing a mini-challenge and giveaway at janeaustenaddict.com.

Looking forward to it once again!

You inspired me last year to start my own Readathon every December. My husband and I are in our second year of reading for literacy and this year we are inviting friends and family to participate!

We will once again get sponsors for all of our reading throughout the month of December and the money raised will go to a great cause that promotes literacy!

DAVID WILLIAMS writes:

My wife and I are looking forward to participating once again. If you remember from last year I am a nonreader.
