June 11th, 2015 by Liza Wiemer

Wednesday started with The Novl Luncheon! I was able to see more blogger friends and reconnect with the AMAZING publicists from Little Brown. A few of the highlights included meeting THE WITCH HUNTER author Virginia Boecker! There was a special guest appearance by Jennifer E. Smith, who talked about her novel HELLO, GOODBYE, AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN! I met several twitter friends for the first time.  Senior publicist for Spencer Hill, Meredith from pandorasbooks.org and Margie from bumblesandfairytales.blogspot.com and I shared a taxi after the event and had fun talking books!

Here are some highlights:

WOLF BY WOLF by @ryangraudin sounds really amazing! Alternate history? Yes please! @TheNovl — Liza Wiemer (@LizaWiemer) May 27, 2015

In the evening, I went to the HARLEQUIN HIGH TEA: Harlequin so generously provided transportation from the Javits Center to Harlequin’s headquarters. What an event! The display of food was fit for a posh hotel in England. But the highlight was meeting the authors. I’m happy to have some new romance books to read. Meeting Kristan Hannah was a real thrill! She’s an auto-buy, and her novel Someone to Love was one of the first books I read while unwinding from BEA.

From the Harlequin High Tea, Danielle from loveatfirstpage.org and Lauren from loveisnotatriangle.com got on the subway and headed to the Epic Reads Event! The experience on the subway was . . . well, quite intimate. This photo cracked me up. I somehow managed to keep myself from touching this guy!

At the event, we met some awesome authors, including Aaron Hartzler. I’m really looking forward to WHAT WE SAW.
